"Armorel Ready to Learn" AT A GLANCE:
Beginning in the 2020-21 school year, Armorel Students in grades K-12 have the opportunity to enroll full-time in our Armorel K-12 Virtual Academy (AVA) to provide students the opportunity to decide when and where they learn. For students seeking an alternative to on-site, face-to-face instruction, the AVA may be an enjoyable, challenging, productive, and rewarding option.
The AVA is designed to meet the needs of students who take responsibility for their learning and thrive in an atmosphere in which they may work independently at their own pace. Students enroll in core courses and electives based on state requirements and personal interests. Students have access to a variety of virtual courses for core curriculum, electives, Advanced Placement, credit recovery, tutoring, and test preparation. All courses are aligned with K-12 Arkansas learning standards and are taught by Arkansas highly-qualified, licensed teachers. Teachers are employed by Armorel School District or Armorel School District partners.
I hope that you will take some time to review the following documents and decide which path is the best for you and your child. Please understand this situation is in a constant state of change and the Armorel School District will be following recommendations and guidelines issued by the ADC, CDC, ADH and the Arkansas Department of Education.
